In Time of Confusion: Cling to Christ

12/22/2019

Two key things have happened this past year in the Church. First, the confusion that has been infiltrating the Church for decades has continued to be promoted and advanced by Church leaders. Secondly, many have begun to clear the fog within the Church and are embracing Traditional Catholicism.

There are several instances over the year that this fact has been made evident, but the most evident was from the Amazon Synod held in Rome during the month of October. As the Synod began, pagan ritual took place, and with that, the procession of the pachamama idols throughout the Vatican Gardens, and into St. Maria’s Church in Trespotina, and even into the Basilica of St. Peter. These idols were not the Virgin Mother, rather, as even clarified by Pope Francis, these idols represented mother earth.
In February 2019, Theodore McCarrick, former Cardinal Archbishop of Washington, D.C. was laicized. This laicization was due to his actions as cardinal containing sexual abuse against his very own seminarians. These acts cannot be denied, as Holy Mother Church has acted and removed him from all of his authority. It has been throughout this year that more bishops and priests have been accused of homosexual acts and have been removed from their posts. Bishop Malone of Buffalo, New York resigned earlier this month after an investigation on how he handled the sexual abuse crisis in his diocese.

And here we are, December 2019, the confusion still looming and infiltrating Holy Mother Church. It is however, with great joy that many faithful Catholics are seeing through the corrupt actions of Church leaders around the world and are acting. This year faithful priests and bishops have called upon the lay faithful to take up sacrifice, to heed the call of prayer and fasting in reparation for this outrageous’ happening within the Church. Many are returning to the traditions of the Church, including the Latin Mass, traditional devotions, and speaking up and against the corrupt leaders of our Church. The lay faithful continue to be attacked by those unorthodox Catholics, by the left-wing media, and at times by the Holy Father himself. None of us are perfect, may we pray that we each be made perfect in Christ.

It is in these times of confusion and infiltration in the Church that we must surround ourselves with the truth - Jesus Christ is King! We must live and profess this very truth to our families, our friends, to our failing society, and to those detesting these truths. It is the call each of us receive throughout our life: to profess Christ crucified, and to profess Him by proclaiming the Gospel Message.

I again call each of us to stand up and defend our Catholic faith. The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ, handed down to Peter, our first pope, and has since been the hope and sole salvation of God’s people.
Christus Vincit, Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat!
